Production Log: Week 4
This week I finished all my voice overs and the editing of my documentary.
The most difficult part of this week was that I had to re-film smoe parts of the peices to camera as well as re-record some of the voice overs as they were unclear and I had some new information to add.
I made sure this was done and then re-edited my documentary to include the new footage, I also took some advise to edit some of the interviews and cut them down as they were too long. I also finished cutting and editing the montages so that I matched up some of the cuts to the beat of the music and where nothing exciting was really happening this helped to shorten down my documentary to under 7 minutes. I then uploaded my final documentary to YouTube.

Production Log: Week 3
During this week I began editing the raw footage from the interviews and filmed a couple peices to camera, I had originally planned to do the voice overs aswell this week but decided to wait as I was still finding the relevant information to use.
My main difficulty was editing the interviews and peice to camera footage without knowing the exatct placement of the voice overs. i overcame this by finding the right information and doing them in the later half of the week. I was then able to see how long they were and how much archive and actuality footage I would need.
Next week I hope to finish the editing all of the footage and voice overs.

Production Log: Week 2
This week I arranged a time and place to film all of the interviews with each person. Unfortunately 2 of the interviewees had to reschedule resulting in me having to film all three of them in one night. Although this was hard work I would rather the hard work than not have the interviews I wanted. As all three were filmed on the same day it meant that I then had nothing to film for the rest of the week so I spent that time catching up on some of the blog work and uploading my footage to the Mac. I had scheduled to film a piece to camera over the weekend but was unable to do this due to family commitments.
The most difficult part of the week was defiantly having to film the 3 interviews on the same night but I got around this by carefully arranging the times for each interview, some of which had to be late but the interviewees were accommodating as they were the ones who had needed to reschedule.

Production Log - Week 1
This week I spent a lot of time trying to find people relevant to my topic but who were close enough so that going to film an interview that was logistically plausible for me. Also There were some instances where my contacts took too long to reply and so i was forced to search elswhere, like the Hemel Hempstead Snow Centre.
I set up two interviews for the following week and continued with the Pre Production planning such as risk assesments, interview scripts and location recee's.
The challenges I faced this week were getting confirmation from contacts for interviews and finding rerplacments that were logistically possible for my time frame and budget.By next week I hope to have got at least one more confirmed interview and started filming. I will also conclude any outstanding pre-production paperwork.
